The Indian Government has asked telecom service providers not to issue a mobile connection for more than three months to international visitors. The move is being seen as a way to keep a check on the misuse of SIM cards in the country. Department of Telecom has come out with fresh guidelines for issuing new SIM cards after the North-East Indian exodus case.
